Passport

For all Europeans (except for residents of Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemboug, Danemark, and Greece) a valid passport (more than 6 months beyond the departure date) is sufficient to travel to Senegal. For citizens of other countries, a visa can be issued by contacting the Senegalese Consulate in that country.
Driver’s license A French driver’s Licence category B will allow you to drive during your stay. It is not necessary to obtain an internatinoal driver’s license unless your are staying for more than 3 months. In this case contact your local authorities (the “prefecture” if you are in France.
Insurance Contact your insurance to ensure that you are covered for sickness, injuries, repatriation etc.. Some credit cards cover repatriation if you used it to pay your flight. Contact your bank for more information.
